The fix could not be more in against the possibility of of truly progressive policies ever being allowed to pass. In retrospect, it's obvious that compromise comes easy to someone with no principles, who represents nothing beyond his own personal ambitions. As an added political benefit, willing compromise always puts one on the winning side of any issue. I think that about sums up Obama's political career. Rather than failure, I think his administration was a great success in terms of what it was meant to accomplish: The extractive financial system has remained in place, essentially untouched, and the serial fraudsters responsible for its parasitic operations escaped the crash of '08 unscathed. As for not taking us deeper into Bush's colonial war blunders, I would credit that to Obama's narcissism and laziness. Having done so would have cut into his time on the golf course or partying with celebrities. Perhaps when he leaves office they will did Bush's "Mission Accomplished" banner out of storage and hang it on the White House for all to see as he makes the final ceremonial trip to the Presidential helicopter. If you've ever worked for a large corporation and had any exposure to upper management, you surely recognize Obama for what he is: just another empty suit corporate manager with a good line of bullshit and a pearly white smile.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
